'NEW 'BIG WIGHT' 100km route for 2008!

The Big Wight is coming for 2008! We've worked our years of experience in staging MTB events on the island into the creation of a fully fledged 100 kilometre epic enduro that will ensure you never think of the Isle of Wight as small again! The route is a grand tour of the Islands best riding, biggest hills and most breathtaking views! If 100km sounds too much for you, shorter route options will be available to give all abilities a great day out! All routes will be ully route marked, you'll be supplied with a map and GPS downloads will even be available. If you have done any of our popular Southern Trail Rides, you'll be right at home with the format. These rides are just a little bit bigger!

Finish Times
No latest finish times are set as we are on site throughout both days. However, back markers will be riding at the rear of the route and may advise slower riders to take a shortcut if they are below reasonable pace for the day. And to help us ensure that all riders have returned safely, please make sure you report in at the finish.

Prices are for single adult riders, riding one enduro route on both days. Book one place for each rider in your group. Different distances can be ridden each day.

To ride just a single day, or to mix and match with the Navigator event, or to book as a family group (must include at least one under 14) please see our Custom Events Package.

Camping or accommodation are extra - please contact Ninham Country Holidays to book on site camping on the adjacent high quality and well appointed campsite, or make alternative arrangements nearby.

Event Map: You will need an Ordnance Survey map of the Isle of Wight to take part in this event. Due to the spread of checkpoints on the course (which covers most of the Island), we are unable to provide printed maps as part of the event, as we do with our regular Navigator Races (A4 maps of the course would be too small to navigate from). You can order a laminated or unlaminated OS map from us (for collection at event registration), or source one from your preferred retailer.

Yes, but we recommend entering in advance as it helps us to organise the event more smoothly and saves you money. Entry on the day costs £5.00 per individual adult more than advance entry prices.
