MaXx Exposure 2008: South Downs Way Night Enduro

have teamed up with Exposure
Lights to push the limits of MTB Enduro!
We challenge you to ride out from
Beachy Head to tackle 75 miles of the South Downs Way to Queen Elizabeth Country
Park between sunset & sunrise.
It's an incredible mountain biking challenge, but we've made it possible. The first MaXx Exposure in October last year was hailed as a great success and a must do event by everyone who took part.
With it's miles of uninterrupted off road and relentless lung busting hills, The South Downs Way has become the most popular 'natural' MTB enduro target in the country and night riding is (quite literally) the 'New Black'. Trail Breaks 10+ years experience running our fully supported South Downs Lemming and Exposure Lights leading edge endurance lighting technology make us the perfect team to take the South Downs experience to the MaXx.
The event package includes:
- Camping facilities at QECP (Sat - Sunday morning)*
- Bus journey to start point (Full Package only**)
- Support stations / checkpoints at 20k intervals on route.
- Route marking to help navigation in the dark!
- Kitbag transport to halfway checkpoint: (send extra energy food / clothing etc. ahead for halfway pick up.)
- Full ride timing including splits at checkpoints.
- Bacon sandwich & tea at finish.
- Night laps in QE Country Park, plus Butser Hill night descent (if you've still got the energy!)
Mini MaXx 2007
So - you want to be a part of the MaXx, but you don't think your legs or lights are up to the full thing? Mini MaXx puts you right at the heart of the event and gives you loads of great nights riding, in a less extreme package.
Enjoy an out and back night ride on the South Downs Way from QE Park to the MaXx checkpoint at Cocking, as well as night laps of the QE Park MTB circuit and the fantastic Butser Hill night descent! You get all the facilities of the main event, including your end of ride breakfast and free t shirt, all from the comfort of the QE Park base. Now there's no excuse to miss out on the night ride of the year!
*You will be able to pitch your tent before travelling to the start, so that it is ready for you at the finish. Campsite will be manned for security.
**Full Package includes coach transport (+ lorry for bikes) from QE Country Park to ride start at Beachy Head. A Ride Only Package is also available for riders who want to make their own transport arrangements.
