Sorry - we're resting the South Downs MaXx Night Enduro in 2013, while we plan an improved and reinvigorated MaXx for summer 2014.
MaXx South Downs Way Night Enduro
It's the Ultimate Night Ride! At sunset, ride out from Beachy Head to tackle 75 miles of the South Downs Way to Queen Elizabeth Country Park (QECP) in time for sunrise.
It's an incredible mountain biking challenge, but we've made it possible. With it's miles of uninterrupted off road and relentless lung busting hills, The South Downs Way has become the most popular 'natural' MTB enduro target in the country. Riding it at night elevates the MaXx to an epic and unforgettable experience!

MaXx 40 loop
RIDE STARTS FROM 8:00pm
It says a lot a about just how huge the full 80 mile MaXx is, that you're tempted to think of this half distance 40 mile loop as sort of small; it's not! This is still a true, open hill night enduro on a big scale! Starting and finishing at QECP this massive night loop is ideal for those looking for a major challenge, but without legs or lights for the 10 hour+ End to End. The route includes shared checkpoint support with the MaXx End to End. You get all the facilities of the main event, including your end of ride burger and free t shirt, all from the comfort of the QE Park base. Now there's no excuse to miss out on the night ride of the year!
