Fat Tyre Navigator

Conditions were testing for the Woodcote event. While the forecast Biblical storms never quite materialised and there was even some sunshine late in the day, a wet start, soft ground and a strong, gusty wind throughout, made this Navigator a tough day out for many.
There were still some good scores turned in though, and top of the tree were Nick Calkin and Kevin Holloway, pairing up in the Vets team category. Their 680 points beat Single Vets Mike Richman and Ian Cartwright with 660 and 640 respectively. Nick Dean won the Super Vets category once more, but not without a strong challenge from Carl Baldwin.
Iwona Szmyd took a cometitive womens category that saw the top six places seperated by less than 100 points, while Alan Yule and Martin Rowark took Mens Team. Neil & Anna Thubron were the Mixed Team winners, although kudos must go to John & Freddie Platt from Red Planet, who gave up a winning position to help out an injured horse rider.
