Unfamiliar Navigator of conditions of warm sunshine and dry fast trails made the familiar Woodcote surroundings the perfect setting for this extended summer special!
Riders had four and half hours to chase 28 checkpoints, but winner Rick Featherstone didn't need anywhere close to that time, clesring the course in 3 hours 21 mins. The generous time allowance produced a raft of other clearances behind Rick, making time crucial for places. Most notable of all may have been Iwona Szmyd's course clearance in winning the womens categories and placing 5th overall.
That's it for the summer special, but the good news is that the Navigators will be back for their regular winter series, starting on November 8th at Princes Risborough. See you there!
