With the unfortunate cancellation of Shackleford due to January's snow, our shortened season came to an end at Woodcote. Nick Calkin missed a clearance by two checkpoints, but still scored a comfortable victory as the only rider to breach the 800 point barrier.
Mike Richman was runner up to Nick in both Single Vets and the overall standings, with a creditable score of 745, ahead of Kevin Holloway who made it a clean sweep for the Single Vets with 735.
Patrick Meldrum won mens solo, but almost missed prize giving. Seasoned trophy collectors Ian Cartwright and Iwona Szmyd made no such mistake in collecting top honours in Mixed Team. Nick Dean did enough to take the Super Vets contest, with Keith Seston and Jeremy Ray winning Vets Team, and Jo Staton winning the combined womnes categories.
