Checkendon delivered a suitably scorching finish to our series of three summer navigators.Top honours went to Nick Calkin who made it a double having scored maximum points in the evening event on Friday.
Big thanks to any of you who stayed on to support the Ride for a Flight event or even just made a donation. If you did any laps of the cross country course, lap times are now up on the Timelaps website. The RUSS Appeal guys are srill totaling up the final figures, but it looks like over £5,000 was raised for UK Air Ambulances on the day, which is a fantastic effort.
The Navigator Series is changing to a year round thing from September - one event a month throughout the year, divided into Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer 3 race seasonal series.
There are a few other changes to the Navigator series structure too and details are being finalised right now - keep an eye on the front page and Fat Tyre pages
