Peak District Weekend Break - 19-21st June 2009

Trail Breaks UK Weekend Breaks were a mountain biking institution, guiding hundreds of riders around some of the finest trails and from the very early 90's through to 2006, and gaining a well deserved reputation as the most fun Weekend Breaks on the calendar!

The weekend runs something like this:
Meet up on Friday evening for a few sociable drinks and a bite to eat at the local pub. Then it's back to the bunkhouse for a good nights sleep. Wake up to a big Saturday breakfast, pack up your (provided) lunch and get ready to be ride.
Rides set out at a fairly sociable 10 o'clock. The routes will be governed by the abilities of the group, but enough guides will be on hand to split up groups and offer a choice of routes, so that we can cater for experienced and less experienced riders on the same break.
The days riding ends at about 4, giving you time to grab a cuppa back at the bunkhouse before you shower and change and relax for a couple of hours before dinner. And don't expect just a measly bowl of pasta either, Saturdays meal is the gastronomic hub of the weekend, a three course slap up feed that doesn't skimp on quality or quantity!
The rest of the evening is then yours to enjoy as you wish - feel free to bring extra drink supplies with you, the atmosphere is always lively and convivial around the bunkhouse; if we get the nice summers evening we're hoping for, the central courtyard is a great place to socialise.

Sunday follows the same format as Saturday, except with breakfast and the ride starting a little later. The route and pace may be a little more leisurely, depending on how everyone is feeling after the previous day (or night...). The weekend finishes with a return to the bunkhouse at about 3, giving you time for tea and a shower before packing up and heading home.
