Salisbury Saxon CX results and photos coming soon
Thanks to everyone who came out for the Salisbury Saxon CX yesterday! It was certainly tough day out in the fog and the mud, on what was already a pretty hard course, but from the response we got at the finish, it seems like everyone enjoyed the day (or at least, appreciated finishing!)
Results will be online later this afternoon, and we’ll have news of the photos from R&R Photos soon too.
So, that ends our first year of CX Sportive events. Thank you to everyone who’s ridden with us and enjoyed this new format. We’re back for more on January 29th at Woodcote, and we’ll have news of more CX events for 2012 in the next few weeks. We hope we’ll see you there; have a great Xmas and New Year in the meantime!

Fantastic day and very hard in the muddier sections. There were moments when I wished I’d chosen my mountain bike (with mud tyres) but in the end I think the Cross bike was the right choice, despite some sliding about.
Target times felt a bit optimistic – can’t see how anyone managed gold!

I was in bed by 7.30 last night!!! Shattered, more hills than just one at each end Phil! A bit like having a baby though you soon forget the pain and do it all again

The target paces are consistent for all of our CX events Alan, so the lack of Golds just reflects how tough this course was on the day (and also that you can be very pleased with Silver or even Bronze for this one!) The target paces will be just the same at Woodcote, but of course the final result may be quite different!

Will have to take your word about the baby thing there, Jane!
