We're working on rescheduled dates for other events affected by the current restrictions too, and will announce them as soon as we can.

We are following the official government and scientific advice during the Coronavirus outbreak and will only be going ahead with events based on that advice. The current strict lockdown advice prevents us from proceeding with any events for the time being; we are currently in the process of rescheduling affected events for later in the year, and are making ongoing decisions as the situation develops. Please see individual event pages for announcements regarding that event. We will continue to monitor the advice and will update this information accordingly.

If you have already entered an event with us that may be affected by the current situation, you will be emailed as soon as possible with advice about your booking. Please bear with us, we are working as hard as we can to keep everyone informed during these exceptional and fast changing circumstances. We won't miss you out!

Trail Break Mounatain Bike Events

At Trail Break, we’ve been providing great mountain bike events since before the ‘events industry’ was even a thing. We were there when MTB first kicked off, and we put events on because we wanted to share the thrill of it.  Back then, suspension meant bending your arms and legs, and fluorescent purple was an acceptable colour for bike parts and lycra. A lot has changed. But riding bikes hasn’t; not really. A good ride is timeless; it’s you and the bike against whatever the trail has in store. It was fun then, and it still is now. That’s why we’re still running events all these years on.

The Original MTB Trail Rides return for 2020!

Our Trail Ride series has been showing riders the best routes on their doorstep and further afield for over 20 years. We devised a simple format (that’s pretty much become an industry standard event format now) to bring you the best riding; a choice of three distances, fully marked routes to follow and target time bands to aim for if you’re feeling feisty (or to ignore if you’re not!) Follow that up with a mug of tea and bite to eat back at base, and you’ve got a great day out!
